Dark Colours Well Gel London Review

Hiya everyone today I have 4 Ceramic Gel Polishes to review today which lean more on the darker side. Here is what Well Gel sent me:

• Rouge Noir A Dark Plum Red Colour
• Wonderland A Rich Purple/Blueberry Colour
• Royal Dark Royal Blue Colour with a metallic hint
• Pewter Grey Metallic Polish/ Antique Metal

Rouge Noir: This is such a rich dark colour very ox blood looking colour. I actually love colours like this as they are quite good on my fair skin. Applied very smoothly in 3 coats but over white or on short nails you could get away with 2 coats. This is an all round colour for any time of the year from Christmas to Valentines Day as well as the seasons like Autumn.Rouge Noir: This is such a rich dark colour very ox blood looking colour. I actually love colours like this as they are quite good on my fair skin. Applied very smoothly in 3 coats but over white or on short nails you could get away with 2 coats. This is an all round colour for any time of the year from Christmas to Valentines Day as well as the seasons like Autumn.

Wonderland: A very pretty purple berry colour. This applied a little patchy on the first coat but on the second coat evened out perfectly. I actually applied a third coat just to be sure and this definitely made me fall in love with this purple shade. This colour would look great for Halloween or Christmas mani’s, maybe even a New Year nail design. It’s a very versatile colour.

Royal: When I saw this colour I was instantly in love. I thought of some Nail Art ideas from Galaxy nails to classy designed nails straight away. I will definitely be doing some mani ideas on my Instagram page for sure *keep an eye out for that* The consistency of this Gel is very thick as it is packed with colour pigment. Applied in just one coat with full opacity but I added another coat as I usually tend to do this. It cured longer than the others 60secs instead of the usual 30secs. I also think glitter or holo topcoat would look beautiful over this.

Pewter: A lovely antique grey metallic colour. I was quite surprised by this one, its very unique. This applies on the sheer side so it took 3 coats for full opacity. I found that over a white base 2 coats were sufficient. I really do love this colour and I actually don’t have anything similar in my Polish collection like this at all. I think Pewter would go well with Royal in a mani design.

Well Gel London are a Vegan and Chemical Free brand they cure in my LED lamp within 30secs exception of Royal which was 60secs. These applied so smoothly and cured with no sticky/tacky layer. All cured with a natural shine so no topcoat is required but applying Diamond Top coat will prolong the wear of your finished mani. The quality of these gels sent to me were of excellent quality, not lumpy or too thin or streaky.

I would say in conclusion if you don’t like using chemicals on your nails Well Gel is the brand for you. They are a salon quality brand which is also suitable for the general home user. The formula is a 1 Step System which is very easy to use and I had no problems using them.

What is Lorem Ipsum? Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum. Why do we use it? It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using 'Content here, content here', making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for 'lorem ipsum' will uncover many web sites still in their infancy. Various versions have evolved over the years, sometimes by accident, sometimes on purpose (injected humour and the like).
